What we put on our skin matters

Our skin is our largest organ, so I started thinking more carefully about what I was putting on it every day.

When I was struggling with my autoimmune health, I began looking at the things I could change including the products I was using on my skin and body.

That led me to become much more conscious of ingredients and to gradually switch to more natural, plant based skincare.

But what about our hormones?

Some chemicals found in everyday products can act as endocrine disruptors, meaning they can interfere with the way our hormones work.

And when we’re already navigating hormonal changes through perimenopause and menopause, I personally feel it’s worth reducing unnecessary exposure where we can.

I’m not about perfection or throwing everything in your bathroom away!

It’s simply about becoming more aware and making small, positive choices where they feel right for you.

That’s one of the reasons I love Tropic. Their skincare is plant based, cruelty-free and made with ingredients I feel much happier putting on my skin every day.

Sometimes looking after ourselves really does start with the small things.
